A jury will resume deliberations in the trial of a man charged in Celebration's first murder on Friday.
David Murillo was back in an Osceola County courtroom on Thursday, a day after opening statements. He is accused of killing Matteo Giovandetti back in 2010, which marked the first homicide in the community built by Disney.
Authorities say Murillo was drinking at the victim's condominium home over the Thanksgiving weekend, when they got into an argument that ended up with Giovandetti, 58, dead.
They say Murillo killed Giovandetti with a hatchet and shoelace before stealing his car, coin collection and iPad.
