OCALA, Fla. (WOGX FOX 51) -
Ocala firefighters on Thursday responded to an apartment complex fire.
Just after 11 a.m., over two-dozen firefighters responded to the Paddock Park Apartments, located at 2901 Southwest 41st Street. When crews arrived, they saw flames coming through the roof of a two-story building containing 16 apartments units.
"Fire and smoke damage was contained to just four of those apartments, and firefighters remained on scene for more than five hours," said Battalion Chief Wally Brinkman.
There were no injuries to the tenants. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
