Dashboard video shows man wrestling with, then dragging deputy

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

Dramatic dashboard camera video recorded in a deputy's patrol car shows a man wrestling with the deputy before speeding off and dragging the him down the road.  An arrest report stemming from that incident reads like a comedy of errors.

Robert Pinos, 23, of Winter Park, is of accused of shoplifting lipstick and some glasses at a Publix grocery store in Oviedo.  When he was confronted by an employee, he ran away.

A Seminole County deputy located Pinos a short while later and attempted a traffic stop.  During that stop, Pinos wrestled with the deputy, managed to get back in his car and sped off, dragging the deputy 15 to 20 feet down the road.  The deputy was transported to a hospital but will be ok.

During the tussle, Pinos dropped his wallet, so deputies were able to locate a home address for Pinos.   He was eventually found hiding in his attic.  He was arrested when he fell through the ceiling.

That wasn't the end of the night for Pinos.  He was taken to the hospital after the fall, where again, he attempted to flee.  Seven hours after the initial arrest, he was finally booked into the Seminole County Jail.

Pinos faces multiple charges, including aggravated battery on an officer.
