Crews worked until Monday morning on a portion of Panthersville Road to restore water service to nearby residents after a water main failed.
The water main break happened on Panthersville Road near River Road on Sunday afternoon. A portion of the road was closed down while crews worked to make the necessary repairs.
Up to 400 people were without water on Sunday. Residents without water say this is actually the second time the area has been hit with a water main break this weekend. A different portion of the same line broke on Friday night.
At least one home was directly affected by the break with water creeping into their garage and crawl space.
County officials say the pipes in the area are about 50 years old, and this is the likely cause of the breaks. Crews repaired the water main break early Monday morning.
