Two Oak Forest men were arrested Tuesday on drug charges as part of a narcotics investigation in the south suburb.
Oak Forest police executed a search warrant at 5 a.m. Tuesday in the 14700 block of Central Avenue as part of the narcotics investigation, Police Chief Greg Anderson said.
Joshua White, 24, of 14700 S. Central Ave., was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and Rick Green, 49, of the same address, was charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment, according to Detective Sgt. Tim Kristin.
A female who was taken into custody was turned over to police in Homewood, where she was wanted on an outstanding warrant, Kristin said.
Oak Forest police also confiscated narcotics and cash from the apartment, he said.
The two men are scheduled to appear at a bond hearing Wednesday.
Since Green is the lease holder, he faces eviction under the city's crime-free housing policy, Kristin said.
