NYC Opera props, costumes up for auction

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Fans of New York City opera have a chance to own a piece of history as more than 2,000 items including costumes, sets and props from over 80 productions go up for auction.

Among the pieces available is a 1955 Ford which appeared in Elixir of Love; the wagon from Pagliaccio; a jacket from Casanova and many other vintage and period pieces.

All auction items must be picked up at the opera's warehouse in North Bergen, New Jersey.

Bidding ends at 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
