The death of a man whose body was found in an Orange County home thought to be vacant has been ruled a homicide, the Sheriff's Office said today.
The body of Ijahka T. Williams, 32, was found by a relative who came to the home Monday. The Sheriff's Office has not released a manner of death.
The home is in the 4700 block of Lake Sharp Drive, in the Watermill subdivision. The subdivision is just north of University Boulevard, a few blocks west of State Road 417.
Investigators are looking for a dark-colored Mercury Villager driven by a Hispanic or black man.
"The person is only 32 years old, and we have no medical history on this person. Finding them dead inside a residence with no witnesses, we want to find out what happened," Lt. Paul Hopkins said.
Anyone with details on the case is asked to call the Orange County Sheriff's Office or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
