Alternate routes to get around I-75 pileup in Detroit

DETROIT (WJBK) -- Investigators remain on the scene of a massive pileup along I-75 that left three people dead, including two children.

The southbound lanes of I-75 between Clark and Dearborn Ave. are expected to remain closed for at least several hours.

Traffic is being directed off the freeway and multi-mile backups are being reported. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.

Alternate routes include:
- Fort Street
- Dix
- I-94
- Jefferson
