ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
A collision between a car and a Lynx bus at the intersection of Pershing Avenue and Redditt Road sent 11 people to area hospitals around 11 a.m. Friday morning.
Patients included the bus driver, the driver of the car and nine bus passengers. One additional patient was treated on scene by paramedics and declined transportation to the hospital. Five passengers denied any injuries and were transferred to a different bus.
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash. A preliminary report by the FHP indicates that the driver of the car involved in the collision ran through a red light.
