Want to get an up-close, exclusive encounter with some of the animals at the Central Florida Zoo?
Offered only once a year, the zoo's Breakfast with the Animals event allows guests to take a private, guided tour and feed animals.
Participants will dine on a provided boxed meal, then embark on the tour. They also will get an up-close encounter with giant tortoises, create treats and feed them to animals and get to see a private hawk show with a birdkeeper.
This year's event is from 7-8:30 a.m. Saturday February 16, 2013. Prices start at $20 for adults, $15 for children. For more information, go to CentralFloridaZoo.com.
