MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) - A Kennesaw-based biomaterials company has announced plans to move its corporate headquarters to Marietta and create about 40 new jobs.
The Marietta Daily Journal (http://bit.ly/YdqIRK ) reports MiMedx Group Inc. is planning to move to an 80,000 square-foot facility by the end of the year.
The company uses amniotic tissues to manufacture biomedical products physicians use to help heal wounds.
MiMedx Group Inc. currently employs about 150 people and the company plans to hire scientists and technicians.
