Communities declare snow emergencies due to storm

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -

Snow emergencies have been declared in the following communities as crews prepare for Tuesday's winter storm.  A snow emergency means vehicles cannot be parked on the street so that plows can clear the roadway.

Remember, snow emergencies may be declared in communities not on this list. FOX 2 will work to keep this list up-to-date throughout the day.

* Ecorse

* Farmington

* Ferndale

* Garden City

* Huntington Woods

* Inkster

* Romulus (Tuesday night until Wednesday)

* Southgate (Tuesday at 8 p.m. through Thursday at 8 a.m.)

* Taylor

* Mount Clemens (Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. until further notice)

* New Baltimore (Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. through Thursday at 9:00 a.m.)

* Romulus

* Royal Oak

* St. Clair Shores

* Taylor

* Warren
