American Idol fans have been getting used to a whole new panel of judges this year. One of those judges, Nicki Minaj, is just as famous for her wigs as she is for her music.
She changes her hairstyle just as often as most of us change our outfits. For three years, Terrence Davidson was the man who designed the outrageous wigs that have become her trademark.
"It's a mixture. I tell her my ideas, she tells me hers and I just go into the lab and mix this and mix that and say here it is, a table full of wigs, different colors, different ideas, so she can pick and choose because there is no telling how she is feeling that day," explained Davidson.
Terrence says the wig that stands out most to him was a leopard inspired wig which had everyone talking at the 2011 Grammy's. And who could forget the rainbow colored masterpiece from the MTV Awards.
"People were calling it the ice cream cone," said Davidson. "I had fun on those days. I used to always be ready for Twitter to go off with everybody talking about what she looks like. Those days were amazing," said Davidson.
Good Day's Gurvir Dhindsa donned a few of Nicki Minaj's wigs. So we have to ask, who wore it better?
