DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
When Danica Patrick became the first woman to ever capture the pole position at the 2013 Daytona 500, she fulfilled a personal goal and also carried the dreams of others with her.
One of them is 22 year old Mackena Bell. Bell is a part-time waitress in North Carolina and part-time driver on NASCAR's All-American Series circuit.
FOX 35's Tom Johnson talked to her about what Patrick's historic run means to women drivers like herself.
