DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

Many teenagers spend their free time doing on the Internet or perhaps playing video games.  But Lake Highland Prep honors student Tyler Audie prefers to satisfy his need for speed instead.

The 10th-grader drives race cars at more than 100 miles per hour., and as this year's Daytona 500 approaches,  Audie is on the track of making his dream of driving for NASCAR, at Daytona, a reality.

FOX 35's Tom Johnson spent a day with the young driver and has his story.
