ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
A woman was stabbed to death by her daughter during an argument Monday night, deputies say.
Linda Jones, 65, died at Health Central hospital in Ocoee after being stabbed by Meagan Jones, 21, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies say the two women got into a fight at a home on Weetamoo Circle in the Pine Hills area before 10 p.m. They then got into a vehicle in the driveway, where the argument turned violent.
Linda Jones was critically stabbed and later died. Meagan Jones sustained a laceration to her leg. She was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in stable condition.
Jones was arrested early this morning in connection with the fatal stabbing, according to a Sheriff's Office statement.
