Clayton County officer injured in Interstate 285 wreck - FOX 35 News Orlando

A police officer was injured following an accident on Interstate 285 involving two tractor trailer trucks and a Clayton County police cruiser on Wednesday.

The accident happened in the eastbound lanes at the fifth runway tunnel near the airport. According to police, the officer was working on the interstate, blocking traffic, when his cruiser was hit.

The officer was taken to Grady Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
