WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (AP) -
A former Central Florida detention deputy has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for filming herself spanking two unclothed, teenage girls with a leather sex paddle and sending the footage to her online boyfriend in Australia.
As part of a deal with Polk County prosecutors, Robin Leigh Pagoria, 47, pleaded no contest Monday to two counts of aggravated child abuse, two counts of lewd or lascivious battery and two counts of using a child in a sexual performance.
The Ledger of Lakeland reports that Pagoria was arrested in May 2011. The newspaper did not identify the victims.
Authorities say Pagoria made the recordings with her cell phone and sent them to Christopher Lobban. As part of her agreement, Pagoria has agreed to testify against Lobban. Authorities still are trying to extradite him on criminal charges.
