NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The NYPD has identified the girls who were seen in an online video being forced to fight each other in a park in New York City.

Police also identified the location where the fight took place as Poe Park on the Grand Concourse near E. 192 Street in the Fordham Manor section of the Bronx.

The video shows the two young girls, ages 6 and 7, being egged on to attack each other by another girl, identified by police as the 17-year-old sister of the 6-year-old.

A 12-year-old girl who is the sister of the 7-year-old girl tried to intervene but was stopped, police said.

The incident began because of a dispute over candy involving the 12-year-old girl and someone else, the NYPD said.

Police have not made any arrests at this time.
