RADNOR TOWNSHIP, Pa. -
A student at Villanova is accused of secretly taping a woman using his iPhone while she was in the bathroom and then uploading the video from his university dorm room.
According to the Radnor Township Police Department, Tyler Jones admitted to investigators that he taped the woman after hiding his phone in the bathroom and then later uploaded the video to a pornographic website.
Police say their investigation started in December 2012, when a woman called and claimed that she found out a private video of her had been posted online. The woman claimed the video showed her undressing in a bathroom.
Police say the woman said she was taped while visiting a friend in Switzerland in July of 2012 and claimed that Jones was the person who recorder her.
After talking with Jones, police say they later discovered that he allegedly recorded two other victims over the past two years. One of those victims, according to police, was 17 at the time the video was recorded.
Jones, who was arraigned earlier this month, faces Possession of Child Pornography and Invasion of Privacy charges, among others.
