Lakefront plane rides, cable cars among ideas to boost tourism

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Some fancy new attractions could soon pop up around Chicago, according to the city's tourism chief.
Glass-enclosed cable cars, lakefront plane rides and a new botanic garden are just a few of the ideas being considered to appeal to international tourists.
Officials say the plans could attract 75 million visitors by 2020, which is even more than the mayor's goal of 50 million.
