PALM COAST, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
Authorities say that, just after 10 p.m. on Thursday, a customer walked into a Mobile gas station on Highway 100 in Palm Coast and found a clerk dead on the floor. Deputies say Zuheily Rosado, 32, was shot to death.
A friend, and former coworker, describes Rosado as a kind woman who always put others first. Rosado moved her from Puerto Rico years ago, and has worked at the Mobile gas station for 3 years. She has six children ranging in ages from 6 months to 16 years old.
Surveillance video from the store, which investigators are not releasing, shows a man walk into the store, and pull his shirt over his face. You see him leave a few minutes later, empty handed.
Investigators are now trying to figure out the motive. Nothing from the store was missing.
