Local cop teaches firearms safety to make a difference

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

Nathan Isaac is a combat marksmanship instructor in the Marine Corps Reserve. 

He's also a National Rifle Association Certified Law Enforcement Tactical Shooting Instructor as well as a police officer in Central Florida.  So, guns and gun safety are part of nearly every facet of his life. 

It's also why he's trying to effect change with how gun owners trained before they receive one of Florida's concealed weapons permits. 

FOX 35's Tom Johnson talked with him to find out how.
