Organizers Say AC Restaurant Week This Year Has Special Meaning

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -

Dozens of restaurants that were damaged by Hurricane Sandy are featuring some of their best dishes in this year's Atlantic City Restaurant Week, which kicked off Sunday.

Organizers say the event, which debuted in 2009, is significant because it features many restaurants that have been able to reopen since the storm.

The week runs from Sunday to Saturday, March 9 and features 70 restaurants.

Internationally known chefs such as Bobby Flay and Wolfgang Puck have become a part of the local dining scene.

You can find more information on the Atlantic City Restaurant Week website.
