ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
A woman was shot dead at an Orlando apartment complex overnight, and police are searching for a suspect.
The fatal shooting occurred in the 5000 block of Timberleaf Boulevard, near Raleigh Street and Kirkman Road.
According to Orlando Police, 911 dispatchers received a call about gunshots at the apartment complex at about 2:25 a.m. When police arrived, they found a woman, thought to be in her 30s, who had been shot several times.
She was taken to a hospital, where she died.
The suspect is a black man last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
Police have not yet released neither the name of the victim nor the suspect.
