In recent days, the American Academy of Pediatrics released new guidelines for treating ear infections.

It is one of the most common illnesses in kids and the number one reason parents take their children to a doctor.

Are kids being over prescribed antibiotics and are parents demanding the drugs even if it is better to have the kids ride out the infection?
