A woman has made history when she tried out for the NFL during a regional combine Sunday.
Lauren Silberman, 28, attended the NFL regional combine at the New York Jets' practice facility as a kicker.
She only kicked twice, with short kicks of just 19 and 13 yards. She then stopped because of an injury.
"Thank you to the NFL for giving me this tremendous opportunity. I've always been an athlete, and I've always been a gamer," Silberman said.
Silberman said she may kick again in the future, possibly at another regional combine next year.
