MARION COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
A large brush fire in Marion County is now roughly 80 percent contained, authorities say.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office Emergency Management, working with the Red Cross, is assisting four people who were evacuated because of the 2,000-acre fire burning in the Ocala National Forest.
Heavy smoke had forced the closure of some area roads, including portions of Highway 19. At least ten homes have been destroyed.
No injuries a have been reported.
