CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
An amazing love story has gone viral.
Nolan Keane, 28, is from Kewanee, Illinois. He's been living with a fast-growing brain cancer for the past four years and recently found out he only has months to live.
Still, the former college baseball player is determined to live out his final wish. He wants to marry his devoted fiancée, Morgan Carstens, and to take her on a honeymoon to Disney World.
Morgan and Nolan are high school sweethearts from the central Illinois town.
Morgan even quit her job as a nurse to take care of Nolan full time. The problem?
With all the medical bills, the couple is struggling financially. That's where the community stepped in.
Local businesses donated everything for the wedding. Morgan's siblings started an online campaign to raise money for their honeymoon.
Last Wednesday, they started an online fund-raiser at GiveForward.com. Since then, the couple's story went viral, and more than $60,000 in donations have come in from around the world.
The family said they can use all the extra money to start paying off all of Nolan's medical bills.
The two plan to get married this Saturday in Peoria.
