BRENTWOOD, N.H. (AP) - Prosecutors are pursuing additional charges against a New Hampshire woman arrested at Universal Orlando who police say failed to get help for her beaten and burned 3-year-old son.
Jessica Linscott, 23, has been held on $100,000 bond since her arrest at the Orlando theme park in November on multiple child endangerment counts. Police say she failed to seek medical treatment for her son after he was beaten by her boyfriend, Roland Dow, 27.
Prosecutors say they are pursing witness tampering charges against the couple, saying they have recovered home video of the boy being coached before a wellness check about what he could say about nosebleeds and spankings.
A judge Wednesday denied Linscott's request to have phone contact with her son but said she could write to him.
