STONE HARBOR, N.J. -

Strong winds knocked down a row of utility poles in Stone Harbor Wednesday as a powerful storm made its way through.

The latest storm is dealing another blow to the Jersey Shore, where in many areas residents are just now getting back on their feet after Superstorm Sandy.

Atlantic City Electric reported around 200 customers had lost power as of 5 p.m. A spokesperson tells FOX 29 winds were too strong to allow crews to work on the lines, which could mean the power will be out for a few days.

The weather also took its toll on a Stone Harbor condo complex. Strong gusts of wind ripped off a portion of rubber sheathing from the roof.

Up the coast in Longport, borough officials are keeping a close eye on the storm. Officials say they are still bidding out a $5 million beach repair project from Sandy. The mayor tells FOX 29 dunes that protect the main thoroughfare may be needed all along the beach.

It was a gloomy Sunday as the whole area remain socked in with low clouds & fog, drizzle and scattered showers.

The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. The difference is that it will really warm up -- temperatures soar into the 80s by Tuesday.  That mild and humid air mass will fuel afternoon thunderstorms.

By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain.  It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
