PORT ORANGE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
The Port Orange police department on Wednesday released new video related to an investigation into what they are calling a hate crime shooting.
The shooting happened February 23, along the Dunlawton Bridge. The victim, a member of the Sikh religion, was shot while driving with the 13-year-old son.
In surveillance video, the suspect is seen following the victim in a truck. Police initially thought the suspect's truck was a Ford, but they now believe it was a Chevy S-10 or GMC Sonoma.
The victim was released from the hospital earlier Wednesday. Any information on this vehicle or crime can be forwarded to Detective Jeff Wenzel at 386-506-5884.
