Jamie Hood in Athens courtroom for hearing

Posted: Updated:
ATHENS, Ga. -

Jamie Hood is in an Athens-Clarke County courtroom for a motions hearing on Thursday. Hood is accused of killing Officer Buddy Christian and wounding Officer Tony Howard in March of 2011.

The admitted cop killer had an outburst against the judge. The judge cleared the courtroom, and the judge and Hood met privately.

In the meantime, victims' family members say they are tired of the outbursts that have occurred several times in the past.

Hood wants to represent himself in his own death penalty case. He's pleaded not guilty but admitted to FOX 5 in January that he pulled the trigger that killed Christian, and wounded Howard.
