US Airways CEO to discuss O`Hare project with Mayor Emanuel

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
The CEO of US Airways has agreed to meet with Mayor Emanuel to talk about the O'Hare International Airport modernization project, according to Crain's Chicago Business.
Doug Parker will lead the new American Airlines after its merger with US Airways. With its hub at O'Hare, the company will be a key player in the project.
The expansion plan is to reconfigure and add runways to help expand capacity and eliminate delays.
But in past negotiations, both American and United Airlines have balked at putting up most of the funding for more upgrades.
