Powerball jackpot soars to $150 million - FOX 35 News Orlando

The Powerball jackpot has grown to $150 million for Saturday's drawing.

Dave Honeywell of Virginia was the last Powerball winner, choosing to take a cash payout of $136,450,911.26 from the Feb. 6, 2013 drawing.

Powerball is played in 42 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. California is set to join next month.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are about 1 in 175,223,510, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association.
