ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Magic forward Glen Davis says he is shocked and amazed by Los Angeles center Dwight Howard's recent critique of his former teammates and believes Orlando's former All-Star should keep the focus on his current team.
Davis, who is recovering from a broken left foot, said Thursday that he was aware Howard's comment this week that the Magic were made up of players nobody wanted and that the comments speak for themselves.
Howard attempted to soften his remarks Wednesday night, but Magic point guard Jameer Nelson says he remains unfazed and expects the drama surrounding Howard's offseason exit to intensify as Orlando prepares to host the Lakers on Tuesday.
The Magic won at Los Angeles in December. Howard's return will be his first game in Orlando since his trade.
