Community meets at First Unitarian Church to discuss CPS school closings

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Twenty-six community and labor organizations will hold what they're calling "the people's school board meeting" Friday night, in response to a list 80 CPS schools at risk of being closed.
The event will be held 6 p.m. at the First Unitarian Church on South Woodlawn Avenue.
Parents, students, teachers and community members will be able to speak out about the closing schools and the expansion of charters.
