Scott Thomas Vincent was arrested in the burglaries of a 90-year-old woman's home.
JONESBORO, Ga. -
Police say a 90-year-old woman's home in Jonesboro has been burglarized more than 15 times in the past few months.
One arrest has been made and authorities believe more are on the way in multiple break-ins at Claudia Turner's home.
"They were smart. They knew what I did. They knew my schedule," Turner said.
Turner who said she tried everything to stop the burglaries.
"They tore the alarm out of the wall. And I also put in motion things. They tore those out," Turner said.
Police say they arrested 39-year-old Scott Thomas Vincent last month after Turner called 911 when she boxed in a mysterious truck at her home.
"They came immediately and they caught the fellow before he got away," Turner said.
Police say they connected the theft to Vincent after discovering Turner's items in a storage locker he rents.
Police have recovered many of the stolen items, including furniture, artwork, boxes full of personal items and the wedding picture of Turner.
Turner said that she's hoping to sell her home soon.
"If someone would like to buy a lovely old home that's been robbed 15 times…I would be glad to give it to you at a good price," Turner said.
Vincent is being held without bond at the Clayton County Jail.
