Thousands of people converged on a convention center near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Wednesday in search of jobs.
The world's largest airport partnered with the Atlanta Workforce Development Authority to host an airport community job fair.
A variety of positions were available including cashiers, cooks, maintenance workers, sales managers, and mechanics. C
"We're looking to hire at least a minimum of 100 to 150 today, and then within the next couple of weeks an additional 400," said a representative of Alorica, a call center company.
