SANFORD, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
Joseph Chin is known for his long hair. At age 3, he is on his way to becoming an Internet star because of it. Thousands of people have watched a YouTube video his mom made about his locks.
"Since he was born, I had never cut his hair," mother Blossom Chin told us.
Joseph says he would like to donate his hair to Locks of Love. The charity collects human hair and uses it to make sure children dealing with cancer and other serious medical issues can have a full head.
"You want to donate it to a girl to make her feel beautiful and awesome?" Blossom asks Joseph. "Yeah!" he answers. Joseph explains, "I'll donate my hair. We'll make her feel beautiful and awesome, but she's not my girlfriend!"
Even though Joseph wants to donate, he's holding off getting his hair cut. "He wants it to be something very special, and he wants someone very special to him to do the cutting."
