ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

It's not everyday you can walk among Autobots.  As the countdown to this summer's opening of Transformers: The Ride 3D draws near, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are making daily park appearances.  It's a preview of what Universal Orlando is calling another groundbreaking addition.

Universal Orlando officials say the ride is in its completion stage, with various parts being tested now. Transformers: The Ride 3D will open after about a year of construction, which is half the time of most major rides.  The ride has had great reviews in Universal's Singapore and California theme parks.

For those that just can't wait until summer to experience Transformers, The Supply Vault merchandise store has already opened.
