OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
All Osceola County public schools will offer a free breakfast to students starting April 2 until the end of the school year, regardless of the family's financial status, the school district said.
Currently, 34 Osceola schools serve free breakfast to all students.
The $30,000 program is "one of the best ways to support the health and academic potential of our children," Superintendent Melba Luciano said.
The school breakfast program is being funded by a combination of a la carte and federal reimbursement funds. For more information, go to the Osceola School District's website.
