A Virginia-based Marine veteran walked into Georgia and right into Gov. Nathan Deal's office on Wednesday.
For almost two years, Mac McQuown has worked on his goal of walking to each state's Capitol. The Army reservist says he's already visited six Capitols and walked 15,000 miles.
He wants to shine a light on all veterans who have risked their lives for our freedom.
Gov. Deal also talked to McQuown about Georgia's plan to help place veterans in good jobs after their return from their deployments.
