Nothing fires up the vice chair of the Polk County School Board more than high school kids who wear saggy pants.
"It just aggravates me," Kay Fields told FOX 13 on Thursday. "I see young men and some women that want to wear their pants off their behinds, and as a school district, I think we ought to do better."
So Fields is leading the charge to crack down on droopy drawers. Wearing them is already against Polk County's school dress code. But Fields says kids aren't paying any attention to the dress code and principals aren't making sure they do.
Fields says that has to change, and if it doesn't, the board may vote to force high school students in Polk to wear uniforms.
