A 4-year-old boy was airlifted to an Orlando children's hospital after nearly drowning in a pool on a Disney cruise. Disney cruise spokesperson, Rena Langley told FOX 35 it happened Saturday afternoon between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
She said the near drowning situation on the Disney Fantasy happened as the ship was briefly docked at Port Canaveral. The 4-year old child became unresponsive in their pool, Disney's team worked on the child before as they transported him to Port Canaveral hospital.
He was then airlift to an Orlando children's hospital. At this time, Disney isn't releasing the name or condition of the child due to privacy reasons, but a spokesperson for Disney told us that their "thoughts are with the family and they're working to assist them at this time."
