MAINE TOWNSHIP, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A northwest suburban man was not a very good neighbor, according to police, who have arrested and charged him with burglarizing three homes in his neighborhood.

Cook County Sheriff's police have charged 22-year-old Davon Miller with burglarizing three of his neighbors' home in unincorporated Maine Township, according to a statement from the sheriff's office.

Detectives were called about 5:45 p.m. on March 28 to a home in 10000 block of Linda Lane, where someone had forced open the door of an apartment when no one was home and stolen several items, police said.

A canvass of the neighborhood led detectives to a man named "Renzo," whom a witness had seen in area at the time of the burglary. "Renzo" turned out to be Davon Miller, who also goes by the name Lorenzo Miller, according to police.

Miller was questioned by detectives and not only admitted to the Linda Lane burglary, but to two similar break-ins on nearby Holly Lane in recent weeks, police said.

Miller, of the 9900 block of Linda Lane, was charged with three felony counts of burglary, and ordered held on an $80,000 bond. He remained in custody at the Cook County Jail as of Tuesday morning, according to police.
