A Tale of Two Phones: Samsung Galaxy S4 And The HTC One

Posted: Updated:
Los Angeles, CA -

AT&T and Sprint have both announced that they will be offering the highly anticipated HTC One on April 19th. AT&T will have the phone available for pre-order beginning April 4th at 1:00pm CT through www.att.com/htcone while Sprint opens the flood gates for pre-order a day later on April 5th through their portal, www.sprint.com/htcone.

Of course, we'll have the phone in house for an in-depth review! We know you'll need that because many of you are ready to plunk down some cash on the Samsung Galaxy S4 while considering HTC's latest offering because it one ups the competition by costing you $50 less and coming out sooner- for those of you who are "patience challenged." Speaking of costs, the HTC One will cost you $199.99 with two-year shackles on both Sprint and AT&T with the latter offering a 64GB version at launch that will run you $299.99. AT&T is really working to get you into their stores -or online- and will also be offering a free HTC Media Link HD wireless HDMI adaptor (a $90 value), which lets you wirelessly share content from your phone to your HD television.

The phone is chock full of high end features which include: 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, zero-gap aluminum unibody, a 4.7-inch full HD (1080p) screen and the latest HTC Sense interface. You also get HTC's new UltraPixel camera which focuses more on low-light performance and new dual front-facing speakers featuring BoomSound with Beats by Dr. Dre Audio.

Which phone will you be running out to pick up? Will Samsung's Galaxy S4 be your choice or is HTC the One (see what I did there)?
