DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

Daytona Beach Police arrested a woman whom they say repeatedly called 911 to report a burglary at her home.

According to the police report, 43-year-old Dedra Jones called dispatchers on Monday afternoon to report that her home had been broken into.

When police did not arrive after several minutes, she called back more than seven times, officials said.  Jones told dispatchers that she knew who took her stuff.  In fact, her husband Joby Jones told FOX 35 that he saw the suspects trying to climb a fence with their stolen television.

After the seventh call, the 911 operator told Jones that she would be arrested if she kept calling.

An arriving officer said she ignored him, because she was calling 911 for an eighth time.  Jones was arrested and faces charges of misusing 911.

She and her husband said they intend to hire a lawyer to try and fight these charges.
