A man was hospitalized in critical condition after an officer-involved shooting in Atlanta on Thursday.
Police say an officer pulled over a vehicle matching the description of a vehicle used in armed robberies.
Investigators say the driver refused to obey the officers' orders and tried to drive away. They say the officer fired once, hitting the man in the face.
According to police, the suspect still drove to another location where he got into another car.
He's now in Atlanta Medical Center.
The officer was not injured, but placed on administrative leave, which is usual in officer-involved shootings.
