A Casselberry man was sentenced Monday to 20 years in federal prison for the cruise-ship gang rape of a teen girl, federal prosecutors said.
Casey Dickerson, 32, was convicted by a federal jury on Dec. 14, 2012, of aggravated sexual abuse and sexual abuse of a minor while on a cruise ship.
Dickerson and two underage boys forcibly assaulted the 15-year-old girl Aug. 19, 2012, in a cabin of the cruise ship, prosecutors said in a statement.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, the boys admitted to investigators to having sex with the girl. When questioned by FBI agents, Dickerson said he had sex with women on the cruise who were not his wife, but he was not sure whether the victim was one of them.
Dickerson also was ordered to serve 15 years of supervised release and pay $977 in restitution to the victim.
